Coffee lovers and foodies are spoilt for choice when it comes to cool and cute places to head to for a caffeine fix or bite to eat in the west end of Glasgow.
And now the endless list of hip hangouts has just got even bigger, thanks to the opening of Perch & Rest coffee shop - situated off the beaten track on Otago Street in the Kelvinbridge area.
Situated in what was a furniture and bric-a-brac store in a cute old cottage building near the River Kelvin, the place looks like it will draw in westenders and people from further afield.
And that's even before they see what's on offer in the bright and refreshing interior.

And a quick look at the extensive food and drinks menu already has us salivating over savoury and sweet waffles plates, filled brioche rolls, soup noodles and peach ice and rose teas as well as specialist espressos, batch and filtered coffees.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, the husband and wife team behind Perch & Rest told us: "We are trying to offer a space like none other and a fusion of east meets west food that suits Glasgow's diverse palate!"
And the best part - outwith its lovely wee garden area - is that its open from 8am right through to 8pm for all you late coffee drinkers.
