Finnieston isn't short of great places to head to for a bite to eat, and now it's about to get a welcome shot in the arm thanks to the arrival of new restaurant Rafa's.
The 9-seat restaurant is set to open its doors in September in the Hidden Lane off Argyle Street, and will serve up Arizona-style Mexican cuisine, based on southwestern food outlets in the USA.
And that means a menu stuffed with the best in Mexican gastronomy based around three main options in tacos, burritos and plates alongside extras such as quesadillas, nachos, beans and fries.
Among the taco and burrito options include carnitas (pork), carne asada (skirt steak) and fish (fried tecate) and relleno (cheese stuffed chile) - with vegan substitutions available for most dishes.
Sides of avocado, mash, rice, cheese and coleslaw are also on the menu, with owners seeking an alcohol licence with the idea to allow BYOB in the interim period.
Rafa's will be offering both sit-in and collection, and be open daily from 1pm to 10pm.
Opening hours will be daily between 1pm and 10pm.
You can have a look at the full menu here - and personally, we can't wait to give it a visit so we'll no doubt see you there.
