Dinosaurs are to set invade Liverpool this spring and it looks like we have the first sightings of the prehistoric creatures.
Over the next 10 weeks, visitors to Liverpool ONE will be transported back millions of years as the giant beasts take over the city.
Families will have the chance to chase Raptors, follow Apatasauruses and hide from the mighty T.Rex, as part of a new Dinosaurs Unleashed augmented reality app – a first for Liverpool .
The interactive Dinosaur experience launches this Friday (March 29) however, we have the first sightings of the creatures were spotted today in Chavasse Park.
Giant footprints, a 'Chavassic Park' jeep and dinosaur models are now in place, with more to come this week.
Alongside the interactive game and the dinosaurs on Chavasse Park, rangers will be on hand to entertain kids during the 10 week invasion.
Liverpool ONE has also teamed up with a specialist team of dinosaur experts to provide all the prehistoric know-how any would-be paleontologist needs.
National Museums Liverpool is also working with Liverpool ONE and has welcomed children to its Dinosaur Gallery at the World Museum in William Brown Street since 1987.
Visitors will be able to download the app and collect points as they hatch dinosaurs from giant eggs within Liverpool ONE via a range of augmented reality features.
