First look at Saints’ Drew Brees in ‘Madden NFL 20’

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will get his own signature animation in Madden NFL 20, the next entry in EA Sports’ prolific video game series. A clip of Brees adjusting his shoulderpads and celebrating a solid throw was shared by Steve Noah of Operation Sports, and can be seen below. Other NFL stars including Green Bay Packers passer Aaron Rodgers and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will receive their own custom animations.

Brees has been the subject of attention from the games’ developers in the past, having stood on the cover of Madden 11. While this isn’t the flashiest animation, it certainly fits the Saints quarterback’s quiet demeanor and should be a familiar gesture for his fans.

The 2019 season will be the nineteenth Brees has suited up for in the NFL, and his tremendous on-field success is reflected in his personal Madden rating; he ended last season with a 92 overall rating, one of the top marks among quarterbacks. He should pick up quickly where he left off later this year.
