First look at Marco Pierre White's new Italian restaurant in South Gloucestershire

A new restaurant set up by renowned chef Marco Pierre White has opened its doors to guests in South Gloucestershire. Marco's New York Italian comes to The Gables Hotel in Falfield and takes the chef's restaurant total to three in the Bristol area.

The new restaurant has been converted from the hotel’s previous bar and breakfast area and inspired by Pierre White’s Italian heritage and love for New York and passion for classic, simple, authentic food. Foodies will be able to enjoy a mix of Italian-inspired dishes and American classics from a menu created personally by Marco with a range of pizzas, burgers, steaks and pasta on offer.

Anthony Greenidge, general manager from The Gables, said: “The new interior looks stunning and it’s great that we are now open and taking bookings for those looking for a new place to dine out. “Marco’s New York Italian is perfect for The Gables Hotel. It represents friendly, casual dining and will give guests of the hotel as well as people of the area a great new place to go out.

“The menu includes dishes that offer a fresh alternative, where authentic, uncomplicated food is served promptly. We want groups of friends and couples to come in to enjoy lunch or dinner or to celebrate a special occasion. It’s not pretentious, it’s just good food, served in a relaxed environment.”

With a cover of 104, the restaurant area seats 60 with a further 44 in the bar. It offers an all-day dining concept for lunch, dinner, light bites or cocktails. It is pitched as the perfect setting for drinks with friends or colleagues where they can enjoy an extensive list of drinks, from wine, cocktails and gin to teas, coffees and soft drinks.

The three-star hotel is close to the M5 and A38, perfect for locals, and people travelling through, to visit. The new restaurant joins the Steakhouse, Bar & Grill and Bardolino at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury.
