First look at major housing development in Nottinghamshire

A sneak peek of what a new Nottinghamshire development will look like has been revealed.

Redrow East Midlands has released a first look at some of the 151 new homes being built at its Redrow at Nicker Hill development in Keyworth.

The development is six miles away from Nottingham and just off the A606 and close to the A46.

A decision on the plans was made by Rushcliffe Borough Council’s planning committee in 2019 after councillors asked that the development was kept in-keeping with homes in the area.

Redrow say the development will be "perfect" for first-time buyers, larger families and downsizers alike with two to five-bedroom homes on offer, including attractive two and three-bedroom bungalows.

They said the development will also bring a £1million contribution to improving healthcare, education, leisure and bus services in the area.

Ryan O’Sullivan, Head of Sales at Redrow East Midlands, said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer a glimpse at what life will look like at our stunning new development, which is set to become a thriving new community in Keyworth.

“Not only are we excited to be bringing much-needed new homes to the area, we’re delighted to be able to be investing so much into its community facilities too. It’s wonderful to be able to share our vision for Redrow at Nicker Hill, and we look forward to meeting prospective homebuyers very soon.”
