In the dramatic teaser, we are right back where season three ended with Eve (played by Sandra Oh) and Villanelle ( played by Jodie Come r) standing on London’s Tower Bridge.

Carolyn (played by Fiona Shaw) can be heard saying: "Do you ever think what might have happened if we hadn’t done what we did?"

After a quick and dramatic recap of the events of season three, Carolyn then adds: "People like us aren’t made for happy lives with happy endings."

It then showed Eve in an electric wheelchair, with Villanelle walking alongside her clutching onto her own arm, as Eve asks: "Want a ride?"

The show's producers dropped the trailer on their Instagram account, where they also announced the official release date for the fourth season.

They simply captioned it "two months" as they showed footage that revealed the drop date to be February 27, 2022.

Fans were ecstatic with the news and can't wait to watch. They took to the comments to share their excitement.

One user said: "I AM SO EXCITED!!!! Very happy to actually see Eve and Villanelle together in a teaser."

Olivia said: "Looking forward that night. Killing Eve is the best ever."

Candice said: "The last scene sums up perfectly the chaos of their relationship."
