Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, however when the sea is about 50 miles away from Leeds, it can be tricky.
Luckily the next best thing opening in Leeds this weekend, as the City Beach returns to the city centre for a seventh year.
The attraction will bring all the fun and games of the beach to the city once again when it opens in Victoria Gardens outside Leeds Art Gallery on Saturday, August 10.
Free to visit, the beach offers deck chairs to relax in and plenty of space to build sandcastles.
There will also be funfair rides and food and drink stalls (charges apply).
Work has begun on the exciting attraction, and we had a sneak peek at how the site is looking.
The sand has been laid down for City Beach, with plenty of chairs and parasols up already.
Check it out from Saturday onwards!
