San Fransisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will pay tribute to Kobe Bryant after the basketball legend was one of nine people who died in a helicopter crash last weekend.
One week on from the tragic incident, Sanders will wear customised boots in the 54th edition of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Samuels posted two pictures on Twitter of the boots, which portray a picture of Kobe Bryant wearing a crown, the numbers eight and 24 - famously worn by the Black Mamba.
The words "Rest In Peace" are written on one boot and Bryant's signature on the other.
Sanders added a famous Bryant quote as the caption, writing: “I’ll do whatever it takes to win. Whether it’s sitting on the bench waiving a towel.
"Handing out cups of water to my teammates or hitting the game winning shot.”
Sanders will be playing in his second Super Bowl on Sunday after winning the 50th edition of American football's greatest prize with the Denver Broncos in 2016.
The 32-year-old was traded to the 49ers in October 2019 and helped the west coast side overcome the Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the NFL Conference Championships to reach the Super Bowl.
Bryant's death has sent reverberations through the sporting world and Sanders' is the latest in a series of tributes paid to the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

LeBron James led the tributes during the Lakers' first game since news of the crash, in which Bryant's daughter Gianna also died.
In Europe, Jadon Sancho and Neymar are amongst the football superstars to have signalled "24" in their goal celebrations, while Real Madrid held a minute's silence before their derby with Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Elsewhere, AC Milan - who Bryant was a lifelong supporter of - and Torino wore black armbands in their Copa Italia quarter-final tie.
