
The inaugural Jeddah Global Village will open on Thursday in the coastal Saudi city, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Organized by the General Entertainment Authority, the event will witness the participation of a number of Gulf, Asian, Arab, African and European countries.
Participants will take the opportunity to display the cultural and heritage works of their countries at different halls at the venue.
Activities will include folkloric dances and costume shows. The village will also feature a children’s section and exhibits of artworks and handcrafts from participating countries.
The Jeddah Global Village will be held at the Atallah park from February 28 to March 29.
