First injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Texans

The Chargers had their first practice of the week in preparation for the Week 3 matchup against the Texans.

Here is the first full injury report:

Cornerback Michael Davis (hamstring) and tight end Hunter Henry (knee) were the only two non-participants on Wednesday.

Los Angeles has had a slew of players go down to an injury, but it’s promising to see this list go from five players to two in a matter of a week.

It’s likely that Davis and Henry will miss this weekend’s contest with their perspective injury.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen (knee) and kicker Michael Badgley (right groin) were limited.

Badgley was close to kicking in last Sunday’s matchup, and it shouldn’t be all that surprising if he makes his 2019 debut against Houston.

Linebackers Denzel Perryman and Jatavis Brown (ankle), safety Roderic Teamer (hamstring) and wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) were full participants.

It’s good to know that Perryman is progressing because the team could benefit from his ability as a stout run defender. Teamer will have a shot to start at strong safety on Sunday.
