First injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Steelers

The Chargers had their first practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Steelers.

Here is today’s injury report:

Safety Nasir Adderley (hamstring), kicker Michael Badgley (right groin), defensive end Melvin Ingram (hamstring), running back Justin Jackson (calf) and wide receiver Andre Patton (quad) were all non-participants.

There has no update regarding Adderley, who was ruled out for last Sunday’s matchup against the Broncos. The rookie safety has been dealing with an ongoing hamstring issue since training camp.

Cornerback Casey Hayward (back) and tight end Hunter Henry (knee) were limited participants.

Henry caught passes during offensive drills today and coach Anthony Lynn said that he is getting closer to a return, which is very promising for a team that could use a spark in the passing game.
