First injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Lions

The Chargers had their first practice of the week in preparation for the Week 2 matchup against the Lions.

The first injury report of the week had a slew of players listed.

Linebackers Denzel Perryman and Jatavis Brown (ankle), wide receiver Geremy Davis (hamstring) and kicker Michael Badgley (right groin) were limited participants.

Coach Anthony Lynn did say there’s a chance Badgley could play this weekend after missing the regular season opener against the Colts.

As for the players that did not practice today, there were quite a few notable ones.

Cornerback Michael Davis (hamstring), tight end Hunter Henry (knee), defensive end Isaac Rochell (concussion), Roderic Teamer (hamstring) and wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) were non-participants.

Henry suffered a tibial plateau fracture and is expected to miss at least 4-6 weeks.

Lynn said that Williams is dealing with a sore knee and there are some concerns in regards to his availability this weekend.

Rochell, who took a big shot to his head last Sunday, was diagnosed with a concussion. His status for the Week 2 matchup is up in the air.

Davis is expected to miss some time with a hamstring injury that he sustained against the Colts.
