First injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Bears

The Chargers concluded their first practice ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Bears.

Here is Wednesday’s full injury report:

Safety Nasir Adderley (hamstring), defensive tackle Cortez Broughton (illness), Justin Jones (shoulder) and Brandon Mebane (knee) were all non-participants.

There still hasn’t been a status on Adderley. He’s been out for over a month with a hamstring issue.

Broughton was out with an illness. It’s likely that he will be good to go for tomorrow’s practice.

Jones and Mebane did not play in Week 7 against the Titans. If they do not make any progress, Damion Square and Jerry Tillery will start against the Bears.

Justin Jackson (calf) was limited. Coach Anthony Lynn said that when he returns, the team will “definitely” find a way to get him into the offense.

Melvin Ingram (hamstring) was also limited. Lynn said he is close and is hopeful that he can return this weekend.
