First images have emerged of Everton's new Holy Trinity statue being installed outside Goodison Park.
The Blues have identified a site outside St Luke's church last year to be the location for their plans to have a permanent reminder of the famous trio's contribution to the club.
And the last few weeks have seen work begin to transform the area outside the church in preparation for the statue of Howard Kendall , Colin Harvey and Alan Ball to finally be introduced.
The sculpture will consist of three bronze figures of the three Everton legends all back-to-back on a raised triangular plinth and re-used cobbles from the existing street as a reference to how it looked when the trio played at the club.
The statue has been sculpted by Tom Murphy, who also created the Club’s statue of Dixie Dean .
And the first images of the statue being put into place have emerged on social media ahead of it being officially unveiled at the end of the season.

Nick Mernock, Chair of the Fans' Forum who played a big part in the statue project said recently : “This project has been a labour of love for us as a forum, knowing how much it will mean to our fans and to be delivering another iconic landmark at Goodison.

"The total consensus amongst our fans was that it was wholly appropriate to honour three of the club’s most prestigious players, players who are rightly considered legends at a time when that accolade is too freely used."
The Blues welcome Burnley to Goodison Park on Friday night for what will be their last home match of 2018/19.
