Netflix has given a sneak peek at the brand new season of Bridgerton and it’s brand new family.
The new first-look Bridgerton pictures, released as part of Netflix’s TUDUM event, show Sex Education star Simone Ashley in the new female lead role .
Simone will play Kate Sharma, the love interest and potential bride of season one’s Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathon Bailey.

The 25-year-old actress’s character is described as “a smart, headstrong young woman who suffers no fools - Anthony Bridgerton very much included".
Anthony will become the main focus of the second series, after the first season’s star Rege-Jean Page announced he would not appear in the follow-up.
Bridgerton Season 2 first look photos
The new images released by Netflix give us a sense of what to expect from the Sharma family in season 2 of Bridgerton.
The first still shows Lady Danbury ushering the new members of the family - Kate, her mother Mary and sister Edwina, into a party.
Mary is played by Shelly Conn and Edwina will be played by Charithra Chandran.
A second photo from the streamer shows Kate speaking to Anthony Bridgerton outside.
Calam Lynch and Rupert Young have also been announced on the cast-list for series two as well.
When is Bridgerton Season 2 on Netflix?
The official start date of Bridgerton Season 2 has not been confirmed by Netflix but it is set to be released in 2022.
There were delays to the filming due to COVID which dispelled any fans’ hopes of a Christmas release date.
But in good news, it has also been renewed for season 3 and 4.
