First glimpse of Edinburghs's new St James Quarter food hall revealed

Bonnie and Wild have revealed what their flagship food hall situated inside the new Edinburgh St James Quarter will look like.

Opening this spring, the huge food hall will showcase more than a dozen independent restaurants, bars and artisanal food shops.

Once events are allowed to take place following lockdown, the food hall will host cooking demonstrations, pop-ups and festivals for locals to attend.

In a post, Bonnie and Wild wrote: "We've brought together a mouth-watering selection of leading restaurants, bars and food and drink producers to showcase the very best of Scotland’s larder!

"Super excited to be revealing the first glimpse of our Scottish Marketplace!

"Bonnie & Wild will be a must-visit destination for anyone with a love for beautiful, high-quality food and drink."

Edinburgh favourites Bross Bagels will also open a new store in the huge centre next year, covering 1,200 square feet on level one of the development.

St James Quarter in Edinburgh will replace the old St James Centre as part of a £1 billion makeover which is hoped to be a utopia for shopping and eateries and is set to open this Easter.
