This is the first footage of a serious crash which left a car on its side on a busy Newcastle road.
Two vehicles crashed on the Great North Road heading north, just after the Blue House Roundabout, at around 12.40pm on Monday.
One of the cars involved was left lying on one side blocking the road.
The second car involved suffered damage to the bonnet and headlight with some debris scattered around the road.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said there were not believed to be any serious injuries.
The northbound carriageway has been closed to traffic as the vehicles are recovered and a fuel spill is cleared.
Emergency services including the police, paramedics and firefighters were all called to the scene.

Drivers have been asked to take alternative routes with congestion expected in all directions.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: “At about 12.40pm this afternoon police received a report of a two vehicle collision at the Blue House Roundabout on the Great North Road in Newcastle.
“The collision has taken place heading northbound towards Gosforth but there is a lot of congestion at the junction in all directions.
“Emergency services are attending the scene and will attempt to clear the road as soon as possible.”
