First footage from the scene as emergency services called to 'incident' in Benton

This is the scene after emergency services were called to an "incident" in Benton.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to Bellingham Drive at around 3.47pm on Wednesday.

At 7pm, a number of police cars and fire engines remain at the scene.

A spokesperson from Northumbria Police said: "Police and fire are dealing with an incident at that location in Benton.

"The incident was first reported to us at 3.47pm."
