This is the scene after police were called to two serious collisions in a County Durham village.
Police said both collisions in South Moor happened between 7am and 8am on Thursday.
It is not known at this stage if the two incidents are linked.
Officers were called to Park Road after a collision which is believed to have involved a car and a pedestrian.
The road remains cordoned off and drivers have been warned to avoid the area.
Later that morning, a car ploughed into a house on School Terrace.
Police have also cordoned off the area.
