First ever human-sized dog bed is a 'dream come true' for jealous pet owners

A dog bed that has been scaled up for humans has gone viral - and it's perfect for people who are jealous of their pet's life of luxury.

It was created by two university students called Noah Silverman and Yuki Kinoshita who crowdfunded the idea, raising more than £200,000.

Their company, Plufl, promises the "ultimate napping solution", but it's not cheap - in fact it costs £320 on sale.

A TikTok video which showcased the bed has been viewed 9.5 million times and fans are calling it a "dream come true", the Mirror reports.

One person commented: "OMG, this is my dream" while another said: "If I purchased this, I would never leave it."

A third said: "As someone who works at a vet clinic and takes naps on the huge dog bed instead of the couch during night shifts I highly approve."

However when people saw the huge price tag, they weren't quite so excited, with one commenter saying: "I had so much hope it wouldn't be too expensive,".

The brand defended its prices, saying: "Our price reflects the cost of producing Plufls using ethical production and sustainable materials."

The bed which fits two is made from four-inch thick memory foam, orthopaedic foam and faux fur to provide a comfortable experience. The cover is also anti-microbial and machine washable.

If it sounds like the bed for you, you can pre-order it on the Plufls Kickstarter.

Would you fork out for this luxury sleeping experience? let us know in the comments.
