The first Dumfries International Street Food Festival will take place on Sunday in Dock Park.
Organised by the town’s refugee charity, Massive Outpouring of Love (MOOL), it aims to be a community celebration of diverse food, drink and culture.
The family friendly festival, from 10am to 4pm, will showcase both local and international produce and flavours with organisers keen to promote sustainable, environmentally-friendly food.
There is also a packed programme of live entertainment with the Singwave Choir performing from 11am. At the same time there will be the chance to try Yoga From The Heart with Jill Dobie. Scottish/Irish traditional folk band Bogle Mufty will give their amazing sound at noon.
There will be storytelling at 2pm with Simon from Wordsmith Crafts CIC, and at 3pm Guillaume Tiberghien will sing and play electric guitar to close the festival. There will also be traditional Yemeni Dancers performing throughout the day from United Yemeni Community Scotland.
