The 26-year-old Channel 4 star took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce her joyful news, admitting that she was ‘over the moon’ after her longterm boyfriend popped the all-important question.
Laura has kept her relationship completely under wraps ever since she shot to fame on First Dates, but the reality TV star has been very much loved up with her hunky boyfriend behind-the-scenes.
So it came as quite a surprise to her social media fans when Laura dropped her bombshell announcement.
The blonde beauty looked on top of the world as she lapped up the glorious sunshine while chilling in a pool.
And she gleefully held her hand in front of her face to reveal her beautiful, glistening engagement ring.
Alongside the stunning snap, Laura penned: “Well I better get planning that hen do.
The TV star went to admit that she felt compelled to share her exciting news, despite the fact that she’s been adamant about keeping her relationship out of the limelight.
Laura went on: “Always keep my relationship off social media and I love that it’s just for me, but wanted to share this with you all cos I’m absolutely over the moon.
“Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine.”
The First Dates babe treated fans to another glimpse at her gorgeous sparkler when she shared a shot of her engagement ring while watching the sun go down on the beach.
Reminiscing on the special moment her beau popped the question, Laura admitted that it was ‘the easiest yes ever’.
Following her joyful announcement, the Surrey native was inundated with congratulatory messages from fans.
“So happy for you. You have always seemed like such a genuine and lovely girl,” gushed one follower.
“Huge congrats to you. You’re my favourite on First Dates,” another wrote.
Meanwhile, a third quipped: “Well, he’s one lucky man whoever he is. Wish it was me.”
Over the past couple of years, Laura has become a household name thanks to her stint on First Dates alongside co-stars Fred Sirieix, CiCi Coleman, and Merlin Griffiths.
