First Dates star Fred Sirieix has got engaged to his love “Fruitcake” after two years.
The happy couple shone some light on their relationship in January 2018 and their romance has flourished since then.
The fabulous television sensation, 48, broke the news his girlfriend had “said yes” with a cute selfie of the smiling duo on Instagram.
First Dates star Fred has always referred to his love as “Fruitcake” on social media and the engagement post was no different.
In the snap, only half of Fruitcake’s smiling face could be seen.
They have yet to share a picture of the diamond ring with his fans.
“Fruitcake said yes,” he wrote beside the happy picture.
His Instagram post was flooded with congratulations from other celebs and fans alike.
First Dates star Cici Coleman left a gushing comment underneath his post alongside others.
She wrote: “Awww Fred!!!! So so happy for you both.”
His co-star added a string of heart emojis on the comment.
Despite starring on First Dates, Fred has been notoriously private about his own love life.
They have filled their romance with glamorous holidays abroad and fancy dinners out.
In 2018, Fred shed some light on their budding romance in the early days as he said the couple enjoyed going for wine and tapas.
The hunk said there was nothing he loved more than sitting down and watching something on Netflix with his other half.
He told Fabulous magazine: “Occasionally, I’ll go for a little wine and some tapas after work with my partner, who I like to call “fruitcake”.
“It’s nice to have a relaxing conversation and chill out when you’ve had a long day. If I do get the chance to be in the kitchen.
“In the evenings I like nothing more than sitting down with a beer and watching something on Netflix.”
Fred went public with their romance following the demise of a 12-year relationship to his longtime girlfriend Alex.
The First Dates star has never been married before but he compared his long-term relationship to a marriage.
They have two children together Andrea and Lucien.
