A former First Dates contestant found herself arrested in the Maldives after hitting the beach in a bikini.
A holiday of a lifetime for Cecilia Jastrzembska, 26, took an unfortunate turn as she found herself being dragged away by three policemen on the island of Maafushi in the Indian Ocean.
Blonde travel blogger Cecilia - who has also appeared on Ninja Warrior UK - spent an hour and a half in custody on Thursday after wearing a scrappy bikini while in the sunshine.
Strict Muslim Sharia Law forbids women to wear bikinis outside of designated beaches - with the possibility of jail if found in breach of the rules.
Viewers of Channel 4’s First Dates may recall Cecilia famously refusing to pay half of the bill following her date with romantic hopeful Viv, 26, back in 2018.
Later that same year, the Londoner (who claims to be a parliamentary adviser at the House of Commons) competed on ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK.
Footage of her arrest in the Maldives drew attention last week when she was heard shouting: “You are sexually assaulting me,” as police apprehended her.

She is also heard shouting: “Anyone who gets in my personal space I’m going to have a problem with.”
Cecilia is believed to have been held for an hour and a half on Thursday and decided to cut her trip short - flying back on Friday, less than 24 hours after her arrest.
Maldives police have since issued an apology over the arrest.

“Tourists are requested to respect the community’s cultural sensibilities and local regulations by restricting the wearing of swimwear to certain areas of the island where local communities live,” a statement from the Maafushi police states.
“Maldives Police Services sincerely apologises to the tourist and the public for the regretful manner in which the incident took place,” the statement said.
“A full inquiry has been initiated to ensure that disproportionate measures are not implemented in such situations.
“The safety and security of our country including both residents and visitors alike are of paramount importance to us. Which is why we would like to remind the many visitors who come to our country to be mindful of local sensitives when visiting inhabited islands,” added.
Cecilia was released without charge.
