First Dates is moving from London to Manchester as part of a major makeover.
The hit Channel 4 show has been filmed at a swanky eaterie in London over the last few years but is now being relocated outside of the capital.
The next series of the show will be set in new a restaurant with different staff.
Maître d’ Fred Sirieix will move with the show along with some of the existing team, but they are set to be joined by some new faces.
The news was revealed by narrator Brian Protheroe, who explained First Dates is leaving the Paternoster Chop House in St Paul's and heading north.
He told The Sun : "I think they’re in the process of changing the restaurant.
"When we finally get through the lockdown period, if we ever do, then I think there’ll be another restaurant.
"I think possibly in Manchester."
The news was confirmed by a spokesperson for the show, who added: "Fred will be joined by some of the existing First Dates team at the new restaurant in Manchester, and there’ll be some new faces from the local area."
Other staff who appeared on the show include regular waitresses Cici Coleman and Laura Tott and barman Merlin Griffiths.
When asked which of the castmembers would be returned for the new Manchester version, Brian insisted Merlin is almost certainly set to return,
It's not yet known whether Coleman and Tott will continue their roles on the show.
First Dates features singles looking for love who meet up for dinner and have their encounter filmed for TV.
