First Dates star Fred Sirieix has boasted that his sex life is the best it ever has been as he nears his fiftieth year on Earth.
The Channel 4 star will be 50 in just a year and a half and says he is having the most fulfilling sex of his life as he enters his older years.
While Fred has been regarded as a man of romance thanks to his role on the hit reality dating show First Dates – which sees hopefuls meeting for blind dates at a London restaurant where he is maître d’ – he claims he hasn’t always been the go-to for good romantic advice.
Indeed, the star hints he may have not treated love interests with the respect they deserved when he charmed ladies into the bedroom in the past.
He told The Sun on Sunday: “I’ve never enjoyed sex as much as now. I think it’s a confidence thing and meeting another person who feels exactly the same way as me.
“I like myself much more than when I was 20, I’m a better human being than when I was 20. It’s that overall wisdom.”
Fred is engaged to his partner – who he has refused to name, but affectionately refers to her as Fruitcake.
Opening up about the first time he laid eyes on his beloved, he gushed: “It was so beautiful. When I saw her I fell in love and she smiled because she knew.”
The Frenchman added: “We went for a drink and we were all over each other.”
The pair became engaged in March this year after Fred first revealed he was dating his mystery lover back in January 2018.
Like many, Fred and his lover have been forced to postpone their wedding plans due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He said recently: “As soon as all this is over we are off to Negril [Jamaica] for a party on the beach."
The dad-of-two also has a 15-year-old daughter named Andrea and 10-year-old son named Lucien from a previous relationship.
