First Bus services in Leeds set for changes from this weekend

Bus timetables across Leeds are set for new changes in the coming days.

As part of the alterations to services, First Bus have announced plans to continue key worker timetables on a number of routes across the city, which will come into effect from Sunday, May 3.

Bus services across Leeds have already been significantly reduced after strict new lockdown measures were implemented in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

A number of services were terminated completely and that will remain the case under the new plans.

It's not just Leeds bus passengers that will be affected though, with new timetables also coming into place for Halifax and Huddersfield. Bradford bus services will remain unchanged.

In a statement, First Bus said: "From Sunday, May 3, we are making some minor changes to our services across Leeds, mainly affecting services on a Sunday or in the evenings.

"Most services unaffected and continue with what has been in place since March 30."
