First Bus New Year's Eve and New Year's Day timetable changes and cancellations


The days between Christmas and New Year always manage to merge into one; and the extra bank holidays don't make it any easier to figure out what's what.

And it can get frustrating when the festive period means that services, such as busses are impacted.

However, luckily for us, First Bus have shared their timetable for the New Year weekend - meaning you can plan ahead in order to ensure your journeys are not impacted by delays.

Here are the timetable changes and cancellations for the next few days.

Friday, December 31

A Saturday service will run on most routes, whilst some will have additional morning journeys - specific route details can be found on the First Bus website. It is to be noted that services which do not normally run on a Saturday will not operate.

Services 42 (Bath), 82 (Radstock), 35, A1, X8 & Y3 will run a normal Monday-Friday service whilst service m1 will run a Sunday service.

New Year's Day (January 1)

No services will run, except the A1 which will run a normal Saturday service.

Sunday, January 2

A Sunday service will operate on all routes.

Monday, January 3

A Sunday service will operate on most routes; however, services that do not normally run on a Saturday will not operate.

Service A1 will run a normal Monday-Friday service.
