Servies 37 and 45 - Diverted due to Hanham High Street closure

First bus says: "Services heading towards the City Centre will operate as normal as far as the traffic lights at the Blue Bowl PH but instead of going across, will turn left into Wittocks Road to its end, right into Memorial Road to its end, then left at the mini roundabout to resume normal route".

Service 17 - Diverted due to Hanham High Street closure

First bus says: "Services heading towards Southmead Hospital are to operate normal route as far as the end of Memorial Road and instead of turning right at the roundabout, are to turn left into Bryants Hill to the traffic lights and turn right onto the Kingsway. When reaching the end, turn right at the traffic lights into Two Mile Hill and go through Kingswood shops."

The bus companies have blamed the pandemic and Brexit for a shortage of drivers. They are on a recruitment mission to get more drivers in place.

Talks are also underway between transport authorities and bus companies to make a London-style transportation network in Bristol.

We will update this story if we learn of more cancellations.
