Production teams have started working on putting the site together for Forwards Festival on the Downs next weekend. The event is a brand new inner-city weekend festival coming to Bristol's Clifton Downs on September 3 and 4, inviting some of music's biggest names to the city to help create incredible music moments and positive change.
Presented by Team Love and AEG, Forwards Bristol is more than just a music festival. Anchored in activism and debate, the two-day festival will also include a programme of some of the world’s most inspirational experts, disruptors, artists, writers and thinkers from across the social and political spectrum.
Headlining Forwards debut edition will be Jamie xx and The Chemical Brothers. The line-up also includes Little Simz, Róisín Murphy, Caribou, Floating Points, Khruangbin, Sleaford Mods and Kae Tempest.
