Firm expansion creates 16 new jobs at Bestwood Business Park

A warehousing and distribution company is expanding its premises at Bestwood Business Park in Nottingham.

Streamline Logistics Ltd, which provides distribution services to e-commerce businesses, has signed a three-year lease on three units, totalling more than 53,000 sq ft.

The expansion has created 16 new jobs in the process.

Andy Yang, managing director at Streamline Logistics Ltd, said: “We’re delighted to be upscaling our operations in the East Midlands and, as we already occupied a unit at Bestwood Business Park, it was a very straightforward decision to expand our premises here, continuing our relationship with St. Modwen. The three new units offer the exact specification we were looking for and will be a great addition to our home here in Nottingham.”

The business is expanding alongside its existing premises at Bestwood Business Park and now occupies 60,000 sq ft across four units.

Stuart Evans, senior asset manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, which owns Bestwood Business Park, said: “We are pleased that Streamline Logistics Ltd has chosen to expand its premises at Bestwood Business Park, committing its future to St. Modwen for a further three years. As a long-standing customer of ours, the business has grown with us and remains a great asset to our national portfolio of industrial and logistics occupiers.”

As a result of the deal, Bestwood Business Park, which provides a range of office, warehouse, and compound storage space totalling 170,000 sq ft., is now fully let.

Sean Bremmer, director at Commercial Property Partners, the marketing agent for the site, added: “Bestwood Business Park continues to perform well for St. Modwen, and we’re pleased to have reached full occupancy upon the Park again. Budget warehousing continues to play an important role in the storage and logistics market and Bestwood Business Park offers a great deal of flexibility both in size and occupational terms. It is a fantastic environment for businesses like Streamline Logistics Ltd to grow and develop.”
