A teenager threw a firework at a Southport house while a mum and baby were sleeping inside on Saturday night.
Merseyside Police have confirmed the teenager, believed to be around 15 or 16-years-old, was riding a bike when he aimed the firework towards the house on Ash Street at around 10.50pm on Saturday, August 14.
The boy is described as "white, short, slim and around 15/16 years old." He is also believed to have been wearing black clothes and rode towards Cemetery Road.

Community Inspector Graham Fisher said: “Thankfully this firework didn’t hurt anyone or cause any damage, but was very alarming for the woman and young child inside.
“Residents in Merseyside have every right to be able to settle down in their own homes of an evening without being subjected to an incident like this.
“If you witnessed anyone behaving suspiciously before 11pm in the Ash Street area on Saturday, please contact police. Any information could provide vital as we try to identify who is responsible.”
