A group of yobs set off fireworks and drove cars dangerously in the city centre late last night.
Merseyside Police were called to Victoria Street at 11.45pm last night (Monday) to reports of a group of people causing a nuisance and setting off fireworks.
A police spokesperson said: "There were also reports of cars being driven dangerously in the surrounding area.
"No arrests were made. One vehicle was seized on suspicion of having no insurance. Enquiries are being carried out."
