Revellers setting off fireworks just days after the devastating explosion in Kincaidston have been branded "insensitive".
One councillor has tonight issued an appeal to those responsible to call a halt to their activities – with scores of families still out of their homes.
It follows reports on social media of fireworks being let off close to the site of Monday's blast – which left a family of four in hospital.
A mum, aged 43, and her son, 16, remain in a critical condition following the blast.
A total of 35 homes are still off limits to residents in and around Gorse Park following the widespread devastation caused by the explosion.

Ayrshire Live told on Friday how Ayr's main fireworks display has been cancelled after organisers at Ayr Rugby Club decided to scrap the event out of respect to those affected by events in Kincaidston.
But a number of reports over the weekend have told how explosives have been left off close to the site where families were forced to flee less than a week ago.
Posting on Facebook tonight, Ayr East Councillor Chris Cullen said: "I’m receiving reports of people letting fireworks off in the vicinity of Kincaidston.
"Given the recent incident, this is highly insensitive and I would politely ask you to refrain from setting off fireworks and causing more upset."
Cllr Cullen has helped to coordinate a vast volunteer response from the nearby Kincaidston Community Pavilion, which has seen residents pull together in the wake of the blast.
Donations have been sent from far and wide from both Ayrshire residents and the business community to help those displaced since Monday's events.
