Fireworks, counterfeit designer clothes, and cash seized after intelligence-led garda raid on Dublin house

Gardai seized fireworks, counterfeit designer clothes, and cash from a house in Dublin on Tuesday.

The search came under a warrant as part of Operation Tombola in The Liberties.

Officers found €250 worth of fireworks, €4,000 worth of fake designer clothes, and €3,700 in cash.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in the Divisional Drug unit in Kevin Street, as part of Operation Tombola conducted a search under warrant on Tuesday 19th October 2021 at a residential property in Dublin 8.

"During the course of the search, a number of boxes of fireworks were seized with an estimated street value of €250.

"A large quantity of designer brand counterfeit clothing was also seized with an estimated street value of over €4,000. Cash in the sum of €3,700 was also seized.

"No persons were arrested and investigations are ongoing."
