Deciding where to go on fireworks night is always a struggle, with the sheer choice of displays on offer in and around Nottinghamshire.
This year November 5 falls on a Tuesday, but events are scheduled for the weekends and days either side.

The big event in the fireworks calendar is always the City Council's Forest Recreation Ground display, which is free, and on November 5 itself.

Sunday November 3
Nottingham Racecourse
This display, in conjunction with local charity My Sight, will take place from 5pm until 7.30pm.
You can buy tickets at thejockeyclub.co.uk, priced at £8 for adults, £3 for children and £20 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
Tuesday November 5
Forest Recreation Ground
Exact times have not yet been released for this free extravaganza at the Forest Rec, but every year tens of thousands of punters can expect fairground rides, food stalls, a roaring bonfire and two free firework displays. There will be a children's display in the early evening, with the main display normally starting about 9pm.
