Firefighters are battling a blaze which ripped through an under-construction building in the early hours of this morning.
The service received a report of the fire in Olympia Street in the east end at around 2:10am and fire crews are still on scene. The road is currently closed.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "The Scottish Fire and Rescue Services were alerted at around 2:10am this morning to reports of a fire in Glasgow.
"Operations control mobilised a number of appliances to Olympia Street where firefighters are currently tackling a fire in a four-storey building. There are no casualties and crew remain on the scene."
The A74 London Road has also been closed in both directions between Bridgeton Cross and Summer Street since 4:45am.
