Several homes and a synagogue have been evacuated as dozens of firefighters battle a large blaze engulfing a house in north-west London.
Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters were called to tackle the inferno in Cazenove Road, Stamford Hill, at 4.14pm today.
Three people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, LFB said, with two being taken to hospital for further treatment.
The Metropolitan Police said it was "early stages" and was "keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire".
The force added: "We appreciate that given the location of the fire and proximity to the synagogue, there will undoubtedly be community concern."
However, in an update on Thursday evening, LFB said it did not believe the fire was started deliberately, although investigations remain ongoing.
The fire has now been brought under control, LFB confirmed.
Footage from the scene shows thick plumes of smoke billowing into the sky as flames tear through the property.
Large sections of the building, including the front door area, have already been left severely damaged.
Crowds have gathered outside as emergency services continue their efforts to contain the blaze.
It is unclear whether the building on fire was being used for residential or community use.
Volunteers from Shomrim, the Jewish neighbourhood watch organisation, have been assisting officers from Hackney police with road closures in the area.
Members of the public have been urged to avoid the area as firefighters work to bring the blaze under control.
The Brigade took the first of over 40 calls at 1614 and Control Officers have mobilised crews from Stoke Newington, Islington, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
Assistant Commissioner Andy Pennick, for London Fire Brigade said: "Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters were called to a fire at a terraced property of three floors on Cazenove Road in Stamford Hill.
"Additional resources were deployed to the scene as the fire involved the roof. Pockets of fire were also tackled on other floors of the building. The fire is now under control and crews will be carrying out further firefighting operations into the evening.
