Firefighters tackled a blaze at a flat in Everton on Sunday (March 6).
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a first floor flat on Albion Street in Everton at 11:52am.
Three fire engines arrived at the scene at 11:58. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the building to put out the fire and to conduct a search of the property.

Two high-pressure hoses were used and the fire was extinguished by 12.10pm.
North West Ambulance Service and Merseyside Police also attended the scene, with a number of police vehicles present.

The occupier of the flat was treated for smoke inhalation before a paramedic continued treatment.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
