Firefighters tackled a blaze at a popular Manchester United fans' pub in Old Trafford .
Five fire engines were called to The Trafford, on Chester Road, just after 9am on Monday morning.
The fire was located in a stairwell of the building.
It was quickly extinguished by crews using fire hoses and breathing apparatus.
All of the engines have left the scene, but some crews remain to carry out checks and dampen down the flames.
Fire officers are investigating the cause of the blaze.
The pub is located near to the Manchester United home ground and only opens on match days.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "There were five pumps called out. They have now left the scene.
"Crews used four breathing apparatus and fire hoses. We were called at about 9am."
