Dramatic pictures show the extent of a chip shop fire in a Welsh town.
Firefighters were called at around 2.43pm on Saturday, January 15 to Central Square, Trallwn, in Ponypridd following reports of a fire which started inside a chip shop.
Smoke can be seen billowing from the shop and filling the sky above a residential area of the town.

Police cars and a fire engine are also pictured blocking the road while the fire is tamed.
The shop, which is located on the ground floor, has a flat above it. But luckily no injuries were reported and everyone linked to the property was accounted for.
According to the fire service, the fire has been extinguished. A spokesman said six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a safety jet, and a positive pressure ventilation fan were used.
The spokesman said: "[Firefighters] had a call at 2.43pm to a fire at central square. Crews have confirmed all persons are accounted for and the fire has been extinguished.
"Six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a safety jet, and a positive pressure ventilation fan were used."
