Firefighters rush to Falkirk area nursery as smoke is spotted coming from building

Firefighters have rushed to a nursery in the Falkirk area tonight.

Mercy crews were alerted to the scene next to Beancross Farm just before 7pm after reports of smoke seen coming from the building.

Pictures sent to Falkirk Live show two fire engines at the scene, with hoses being used.

The building is believed to be empty.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that they are in attendance and searching the nursery.

It's not known if there has been any damage to the site.
