Firefighters rush to Aldi car park in Nottinghamshire after reports of vehicle fire

Emergency services rushed to a car par park after reports of a vehicle fire.

Firefighters from Ashfield Fire station attended the scene in the Aldi car park in Kirkby-in-Ashfield on Friday morning (September 24), a spokesperson confirmed.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet.

The emergency service reported that one car was destroyed by the fire and two others were damaged.

Firefighters also gave first to an elderly lady who reportedly fell. Firefighters stayed with the lady until family arrived.
