Firefighters rescue adorable pup from Dublin house fire 'while his human was out'

Dublin firefighters managed to save an adorable dog from a dangerous house fire last week - which occurred while the owners were out.

The pup - named Jesse - was trapped in the “smoke logged” house, and was unconscious when firefighters found him.

They treated him with oxygen outside the home and made sure he was brought straight to the vet after the incident for further care.

In a post on Twitter, Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed the story saying; “Firefighters rescued a dog this morning in Blanchardstown while fighting a fire at his home.

“The crew gave Jesse oxygen, and transport to a local vet was arranged.

“His house was completely smoke logged following the fire.

“His human was out at the time of the fire.”

In an update issued later on Sunday night, it was confirmed that Jesse was back to full health after the ordeal and is back home with “his human.”

The update read: “On Monday, Firefighters rescued Jessie when a fire broke out in his home.

“Unconscious, he was given oxygen on scene and transport was arranged to a local vet for further care.

“We are delighted to hear that Jessie is as good as new, none the worse for his experience.”
