Firefighters race to the scene of a 'well developed' fire near Falkirk

Firefighters are battling a house fire in the Falkirk area this evening.

Mercy crews raced to Castle Crescent in Denny at around 7.30pm.

At least six police cars, three fire engines and two ambulances are reported to be in attendance.

It’s not known if anyone is injured.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Services confirmed they’re dealing with a “well developed fire”.

An eyewitness told Falkirk Live : “I didn’t realise there was something going on until I seen a police car go flying past.”

“Next minute two fire engines arrived followed by another one.”

“There must be at least six police cars here.”

Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for a comment.
