Fire crews arrived at Larne harbour to a ship fire on board the P&O European Causeway ferry.
Three crews from Larne, Belfast and Ballyclare were in attendance.
A spokesperson for NI Fire and Rescue said that it started in the engine room.

He said: "NIFRS received a call at 4.32pm today to attend an incident involving a fire in the engine room of a ferry ship.
"A full attendance was mobilised.
“The fire was extinguished by the ship’s crew and internal fire suppression system.
"NIFRS are liaising with other agencies on the scene.
“There are no reported injuries and all persons are accounted for.”
