Firefighters extinguish blaze in South Shore

Firefighters fought a blaze in the 7200 block of South East End Avenue, July 15, 2019, in South Shore.

Firefighters battled a blaze Monday at a two-story vacant house in South Shore.

The fire broke out at the home about 6:15 a.m. in the 7200 block of South East End Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department. It was extinguished shortly after 8 a.m.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
