"Residents living in and near the area are advised to stay indoors and keep their windows and doors shut as a precaution.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

"The fire has now been sectorised.

"Firefighters have withdrawn from the main seat of fire due to an insufficient water supply.

"Hose reel jets and ground monitors are being used to protect nearby properties in a bid to stop the fire from spreading further.

"One casualty, a man, was given first aid by firefighters before being handed over to the care of paramedics.

"This incident will be updated as more information becomes available."
