Firefighters are tackling a 'serious' fire at a home in Glossop.
Crews from Ashton and Glossop were called to the scene in Hadfield on Green Lane at around 7.30am on Sunday.
A joint police and fire investigation has been launched, a spokeswoman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
She did not confirm any details about injuries of those involved.
A statement released by the fire service said: "Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently dealing with a serious fire at a property on Green Lane, Hadfield, Glossop.
"The service received a call to attend the fire at 7.33am from North West Fire Control.
"Firefighters from Glossop and Ashton in Greater Manchester attended the fire and remain on scene.
"A joint police and fire investigation is currently ongoing.
"No further information is currently available."
